Jercalai, Jercalai Monastery, Orthodox, Romania,

Built in 1731 the church was used for two centuries as a place of praying for the believers of Luieriu-reghin village, Mures. Raising a wall church, Luieriu village congregation gave the wooden one  to the royal family for the Bran Castle, near which it was moved in 1932 and being named The Wooden Church of the Castle.
Being intended only to beautify the surroundings, the church has not fulfilled its sacred role at Bran. Unused and unkempt after 1948 when Bran Castle was turned into a museum, the church began to deteriorate. Discovered in an advanced state of decay by the Patriarch Justinian Marina, the church switched on the road again, this time stopping at the Hermitage Cricov-Prahova, of which old wall church was ruined with time. Thus, in the spring of 1956, the church was dismantled, transported and reassembled at Cricov.
After the two earthquakes of 1977 and 1986, there were rebuilt the roof top and the tower and were executed works to strengthen the church. In 1980,  they were made works in order to strengthen the wood, and currently efforts are directed to expedite the treatment works and of wood preservation, old for 270 years, at the top of the church, continuing restoration of the painting, saving and beautifying this spirituality monument of Orthodox and Christian art.
